Potter Burial Ground
(page 138)
Stones located in the old Potter burial ground on the old Potter farm. This burial
ground is now located in the gamelands, owned by the State of Pennsylvania, in West
Finley Township, near the village of Good Intent.
(LR-62137 - south of Claysville - nr. Wheeling Hill Church) There were three more stones,
in the burial ground which had been used by one of the Potter family, in the early
1900's, to build shelves in a springhouse, which is located on the land below the
burial ground. The springhouse has partially fallen, but the stones are still in the
wall, and cannot be read.
